Fenrir get chained

The Fenrir wolf grows up at Valhalla, but after a while the gods realizes it's to dangerous to be free. First the gods tries to bind him with the strong chain Loding, but it breaks. They try Dromi, a chain harder than the earlier, but Fenrir gets loose again. Then Odin sends Heimdall down to the dwarves Brokk and Sindri to tell them to forge the strongest chain in the world. While Heimdall waits for the chain to get ready he sees the strangest things. The dwarves beats in the air, on empty tables or against each others sledges. When they are done Heimdall sees a thin, small thread which he didn't noticed earlier even though he has the best sight and hearing of all the gods.

He returns with the wolfleash Gleipnir in his hand. The aesirs looks with wonder at the small thread. Was that tiny thing going to stop the huge Fenrirwolf? Thor said out loud that it would never hold, no way if you put some pressure on it. Then Idun discretly picked up a needle and sat herself down behind Thor. She blinked to Freya who had noticed what she had done. Freya took up the thread and tied it hard to a table. Then she leaned against Thor and whispered something in his ear. One could think it was something about giants at the frontdoor. Thor flew up from his chair, heading for the frontdoor, but half the way he stopped. He turned round looking really confused, but when he realized that no one was holding him he started to run again. On his way out of Valhalla he dragged the heaviest table and everything that was on it. The aesirs laughed and felt pretty sure that the chain could hold the wolf.

The problem now was how to chain Fenrir. The gods agreed that the brave Tyr who had fed the wolf all it's time in Asgard should do it. Tyr started with giving the wolf it's food, then he scratched it behind it's ear, and finally he scratched it in it's mouth as he used to do when Fenrir was younger. The wolf seemed to relax and Tyr smoothly let the chain slide down over the wolves neck. But suddenly he felt the chain, Fenrir realizes that he is stuck and in his anger he bites Tyr's hand off.
