Mjollnir is stolen

One day Thor wakes up and realizes that Mjollnir is gone. He gets very upset, because he knows that they can't fight the giants without his hammer. He wakes Loki and tells him that they have to go out start looking for it. Then Sif finds a ring with the inscription 'Trym'. Loki borrows Freya's feather coat and flies to the giant Trym's stronghold in Jotunheim. Trym admits that he stole the hammer and tell Loki that Thor will not have it back until Trym have got the beautiful lovegoddess Freya as his wife. Loki flies back to Asgard and tells the gods about the meeting. The gods goes to Freya to make her marry Trym, but she disagrees. Then Balder gets the clever idea that Freya could go there, find the hammer and then go back to Asgard again. When Thor realizes that a women is about to touch his hammer he says that he would prefer to do it himself. Loki and Roskva gets dressed up as bridesmaids, and Thor gets dressed, as good as possible, as a bride. When they're about to leave they realizes that they need someone more, to drive Thor's wagon, because both of the men is going to look like ladies. If they would drive, the giants would surely get suspicious, so they bring Tjalfi.

They make a stop at Utgardaloki over the night to get themselves some food. Everyone gets surprised of how much mead Freya drinks, but Loki tells them that she is kind of nervous about the wedding. One of the giants made the mistake trying to pinch Freya, a mistake that he will never forget. Next day they starts early. On their way to Trym they meet a lot of giants invited for the wedding. When they gets there they get the information that the wedding isn't going to be until the evening so they sneaks around to see if they can find the hammer. Some of the giants sees that Freya is Thor, but Loki talk to them and tell them that all of them have had their quarrels with Trym, and isn't it just about time that something funny happens? The giants agrees to that. Loki and Thor keeps sneaking around and Loki finds Trym's treasurehall where Trym himself is taking a bath in his money.

But Thor is running out of luck. He gets found by one of Trym's servants, who puts him in the kitchen with the other women to do the dishes. When the women is going to have their salary Thor doesn't get anything because he is going to be the wife in the house. Thor gets really angry and starts to scream. Trym's sister who sees this, gets suspicious and goes to talk to Trym, but he is so nervous about the wedding that he has locked himself in, in the treasurehall to calm down his poor nerves. At the same time Roskva finds the secret treasurehall where Mjollnir is kept and hurries to tell Thor about it. They are just about to get it when Trym's servant comes to get Thor for the wedding. The weddinghall is full of happy giants. When all the speeches are done Trym declares that he is going to give his bride the most expensive thing he has ever owned, Mjollnir. His sister tries to warn him, but he doesn't listen to her. The hammer is carried in. And when Thor gets Mjollnir in his hand it won't take long until the gods are back in Asgard again.
