The vanir war

The vanirs was a godrelated race who symbolized fertility, wealth and magic. One vanir woman, Gullveig, was hated by the aesirs because of her magic skills. When the aesirs killed her the vanirs became furious, and when Odin threw his spear Gungnir at them the Vanir War started. The vanirs won and moved from Asgard to Vanaheim. The vanirs and the aesirs then decided to live in peace. The vanirs sent the god of fishing, Njord and his son Frey and his daughter Freya to dwell with the aesirs. The aesirs sends the wise Mimir and Odin's brother Vili. The newborn peace celebrates with all the aesirs and the vanirs spit together in a bowl. The spit mixes, and a giant rises, Kvaesir. He becomes the symbol of the aesirs and vanirs harmony and peace.
